We had to pick my stepfather Reg up from the airport at lunchtime today, so i had organised my mum to come out to our place by train in the morning...she did well, she made it!! After picking Reg up we took them up to see the house.
The framers were working on the last part of the roof - putting the eaves together...we only have eaves on the front of the house, and even more exciting was the fact that some of our windows were sitting on the ground behind the house.
As there were workmen there we only walked around the perimeter to show mum and Reg the various rooms....thankfully they approved of our house, lets face it, its one thing to see it on paper and another to see it in person....even at our age we still like to get our parents approval, so i guess somethings never change.
