We arrived there early at 7.10, walked through the house, which by the way had had some carpentry work done on it yesterday....waited.....and waited.....and waited.....and you guessed it waited...till 8.00am when we had to leave so Tony could get to work on time. Grrrrrrr
Anyway, the pole on the veranda had been moved, which meant new lintels in the walls to hold it in place, we had a new stud behind the meter box as there wasnt one there, they have started framing out the fireplace, which is good as at the moment it looked more like a doorway than a fireplace. As we were leaving the carpenter turned up so i guess there will be more work done on her today.
They had also put the colourbond pieces up for the gabling, it looks so much better now.
The re-positioned veranda post and to the left the wall stud
Front of house with gables trimmed out
The facade of your place is really taking shape now, and looking wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Felicity....I'm getting impatient now as work is progressing ever so slowly... :)
