Kelly came home early from work.....so she and Adrian joined us at the house around 4pm...they bought Lulu and Sorcha up with them.
The brickies were once again without their labourer....it takes them so much longer to get the bricking done without him.
Anyway Tony was inside the house trying to finish off the cable run, while Kell and I once again stayed outside with the dogs....its a bugger trying to do the right thing.
Around 5ish Chris and Paul who are building over the road came up to have a look at their house, so they called over...we are using the same brickies as they used! We left the dogs in Adrians car and went inside so Kell could have a look at the house before it got too dark...it wasn't long before the brickies called it a day, so then the dogs came in...and what do you think the first thing both girls did once inside?....wet the floor in the rumpus, both of them 'let go' when they are excited...silly things.
The kids and dogs left around 6.30, so it was just the two of us, there's not much i can do to help Tony do the cables, just sit there and talk to him.
Was excited to find that our meter has finally been installed, so now its just a case of running the extension lead out to the box, rather than run a couple of them to next doors box.
Yay! he finally finished, he even scored chanels out of the batts so it would fit in nicely for the plasterers.
A very neat job!
Take away again for dinner...its a long day for Tony doing the cables as he is starting work at 3.30am this week.
