Splashback....

In our garage we have sitting extra sheets of plaster, waiting to be taken away...for once we are glad that they have been a bit slow to clear them out...we needed a piece so we could fix the wall at Adrians after fixing his leaky water pipe.

We turned up around 6ish to find a tradie there...bugger...so we went to Woolworths to grab something for dinner....came back and he was still there..
Figured out he was installing our ceiling batts...as we could see the ladder through the bathroom window and could see the tell tale signs of light in the roof.

We waited until 6.50 for him to go, talk about taking your time.

Into the house we go.....hardly anything had changed....except.....I had my splashback in...oh boy, oh boy!
In my mind it was going to be whiter...after all it is white paint behind the normal glass....what we have is normal glass but the tinge makes the white look creamy..mind you in the photos it comes out blue.

Tony heard from our SS today.....Porter Davis have now changed the way they conduct PCI and Handover....now on the 16th Aug we will have their building manager come out and inspect the house, the following day the Quality Assurance guy comes out...think this is when we find out if we will get our Certificate of Occupancy issued or not.  The following week ( 23rd) we get our PCI walkthrough, then the week after that 30th we should have handover......so....keep your fingers and toes crossed that it works out that way, otherwise tony will have had his 5 weeks off and we still won't have moved.
Once again we will have to move our concrete people back a week and move the Movers back.
